I have owned this home for 20 years now. I haven't done anything different in last 3 months than I ever have. In December, I paid $548, in January I paid $774 now I have a current bill that's over $500. I've called to get someone out to check things out for me. I've called customer service 3 times and have gotten 3 different answers! After my first bill that was $548, I literally turned the heat completely off, unplugged everything that was plugged in and not being used and I've literally kept the lights off and then I receive a $774 bill after that. One lady told me it was because I was running space heaters intermittently. I explained to her that I've ran space heaters plus my heating unit for years and have never gotten a bill this high. The other lady told me to come into the office and ask for a payment arrangement and then the last guy I was transferred to had no clue because he put me on hold 3 times then never came back. There is absolutely no reason 1) y'all should have customer service clerks so rude and not knowledgeable at all and 2) there's no reason my bill is so high. I need someone out to come out and check things for me because there's obviously a major problem. If I don't get it rectified now, something tells me my bills will remain insanely overpriced. I need someone to do their job come check my meters and everything. If I can't get any help this time, myself and a group of other concerned customers are calling the BBB as well as The Grip (Sheila Mattews) Resolution Sought I'd like to have someone come look at my meters, look at everything around my home because we've done nothing different than we always have. In the past 3 months, almost $2000 to y'all. I'd like to get some of my money back due to this error. I'd also like y'all to make it so customers can go with other companies. I'd also like to know exactly how far myself and a group of 10 other unsatisfied customers have to go before we get help. Keep complaining, calling BBB and the news channels?
