CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

Consumer alleges your company is refusing to accept her check for payment, due to her bank account being hacked and scammed. She was told by Cleco Corp that she has to pay via cash for the next 6 months. In which, consumer states is ridiculous since she is 73 years old and disabled and cannot honor this request and would like your company to continue to receive a check for payment from her bank account as she has paid for the last 26 plus years. Consumer states she has tried resolving this matter with your customer service dept, but has received no resolution or cooperation. So therefore, consumer is now seeking the assistance of Business Consumer Alliance in obtaining an amicable resolution. Resolution Sought Consumer would like Cleco Corp to honor her request and accept her payments via her checking account as this is causing her a hardship every month.
