Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. I bought a used tower and the owner, Mr. Peter Pham asked me if I used WIFI and I said yes, so he sold me a wifi adapter for an extra 10.00. When I got home and tried to use the computer, it wouldn't connect to the internet using the wifi adapter. I went to office depot and bought a more expensive wifi adapter, but it didn't work either, so I bought a new HP Tower and returned Mr. Pham's tower to him. He said that he didn't except returns. I was astounded and looked at all the signs in his place of business and said to him, there are no signs that say, " No refunds, nor all sales are final, nor sold "as is." Then I looked at my receipt and it said 30 days warranty, and i had two weeks left on the warranty. Nothing on the receipt said that all sales are final. The tower was still in working order. he said that he would fix it, and I said, it is not wifi compatible, I use wifi, your wifi adapter that i paid for doesn't work, a better wifi adapter doesn't work, i bought a wifi-ready new computer, and I need to return yours to you. He refused to accept it. Resolution Sought Refund the purchase price of the tower to my credit card. He still collects 35.00 for transferring data from my old tower to his tower. He keeps my old tower to repair and sell to someone else.

This is responding for the complain,I have recall she call me about the wifi connection issue ,All used computers have 30 days warranty for repair if not working right,no return or refund,accept.i have offer to come to her house to check the wifi router,she may have compatible issue on her wifi router,but she did not want to do that,about her old computer ,i ask her to see she want the old tower back or want to recycle it she said she like to recycle it so the old tower has been recycle properly. We are willing to repair if computer not working right Thank You

There are no signs posted or contract signed agreeing to repairs only, if computer is not working. Mr. Pham seems not to want to understand that the computer he sold me will simply not work with wifi, and I explained to him at the beginning that I could not connect the tower directly to my computer because of location. He said that the wireless adapter would allow me to connect by wifi, but it didn't. I couldn't connect. Even a $50 wireless adapter from office depot would not provide a connection. At that point, I bought a new computer because I had work to do. My complaint is that the computer from CNT was not wifi compatible to begin with, at all, and it could not be fixed, no matter what Mr. Pham did. There is nothing wrong with my wifi router, it worked for years with my old computer and it is working fine now with my new computer. Mr. Pham does not want to deal with reality, his computer would not work with wifi, he gives no prior notice that I am stuck with his computer even if it doesn't work, and it won't work no matter what he does.
