I got a notice in March from coast to coast financial solutions saying they are a collection agency and we owe 94.40 to GFL Environmental. The account is in my husbands name., Renjan BHASI. We paid with check right away and I called GFL and they told me I don't owe anything more and I even closed the account. After that with notice date of 3/29/2024, again we got a paper from coast to coast saying we owe money. I thought it was sent by mistake. Again I called GFL they said it was paid with check on March 21 and we don't owe them anything. Now, everyday I am getting calls coast to coast solutions saying I owe them money and that the GFL corporate office is still showing money and it was write off so I won't be able to pay GFL. GFL says we owe nothing to them. GFL said they can't do anything about coast to coast solutions. Coast to coast solutions is saying we have to send them proof if not it will go into record. Why should I send proof when the original company is saying I don't owe any money. Resolution Sought Stop harassing us. Even after I told them multiple times it's paid off shouldn't they be contacting GFL to clear this. They are just illegally trying to extract money from us. We forgot to initiate autopay after adding new card. Yes it was our fault. We paid the bills. They should not be calling us asking us for proof.
