On 12.22.2023 @ 12:53pm, the cashier at CoCo Nails overcharged me for a $45 nail service and charged me $76 with me leaving a $20 tip. I'd never pay nearly $100 for a pedicure. In addition, I was also charged $3 more on 4 gift cards totaling $173 which should have been $170; 3 pedicures at $45 and 30 off because of their new store opening promotion and 1 manicure gift card for $38 at 30 off. I never received the 30 off on either 4 services on the gift cards. They have cameras everywhere and should be able to play back what service I clearly asked for. This is a dishonest business or the lack of training/knowledge on the cashiers part. The owner refused to refund me the correct amount on the $76 they charged me. I was owed $31.50. The pedicure service I asked for was $45 with 30 off. She owner called back and apologized for the error and confusion and stated she was willing to refund the gift card amount of $173, however she was not willing to refund the $31.50 in and overcharge for the $76 pedicure. Resolution Sought To make sure the merchant understands as well as the consumer and nail tech on which service they are receiving along with the final amount. That the merchant share exactly what the percentage is they are taking off and it is explained in money terms, $5 off, $10 off etc. Run back their cameras to confirm what the consumer asked for.
