Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

A variety of factors are considered when calculating CRI. This includes how quickly a company responds to complaints, the number of complaints against a company, whether the company addressed complaint allegations, and the outcome of the complaints. CRI is just a subset of the overall rating for the company. I paid Collectors Auctions on Jan 16, 2024 for a firearm I won through their Jan 14th auction. I paid within hours of their posting the invoice on Proxibid. I emailed them my FFL broker the very same day. I checked the Proxibid website and my invoice was marked paid. I called Collectors Auctions on the 16th and was told my firearm would be shipped as soon as they confirmed payment. As I did, they only had to login to Proxibid and confirmed I paid. After a week of no contact, I called Collectors Collectors Auctions CS and got a recording requesting I leave detailed info for a call back. I called several times within 3 days. Finally, after approx the 12th day of auction ending I called and talked to their CSR who said the firearm would be shipped within 2 days. 3 days later, I called again and received message to leave detailed info. I did and got no call back or email. After approx 3 more days of calling again I got CSR telling me it was shipping out that day and they would send a free box of ammo for my concerns. Told them only wanted my firearm shipped 2 day ground. Now we're into our 4th week and still no firearm nor any word from Collectors Auctions. Resolution Sought They need to immediately overnight my firearm (on them) or issue me a full refund.
