On October 30, 2023, I called THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, hotline, and I stated that I was a victim of domestic violence and I was moving out and I needed to move-in company and they referred me to call back due to October being Domestic violence awareness month then I called back and they told me due to me being a victim. I could get a free move so up on that they referred me to college honks and Holland junk moving company. The manager called me on October 31 of 2023 and said that someone would come out at 11 o'clock Am when they arrived. They had a 26 inch truck. I had a two bedroom two bath condo. I've been there 26 years due to fear of my life. I had to hurry up and move out upon moving out. It was three guys one didn't do anything took down my bed the other one tried to load the furniture by itself on a two wheel dolly as a moving it on a two wheel dolly I witnessed him break my dresser at the bottom they carried my bed out. I asked him not to drag it and they dragged it. King size bedroom, mattress to up at the end my dresser toe at the bottom, my dresser by the mirror , one of my pose of my bedroom frame is scratched I'm very dissatisfied. I was violated as a victim of domestic violence I'm embarrassed I'm a shame of how they treated me. I mentioned it to the manager that they had broke the dresser. He never said a word one of the guys also stated that they had insurance that they could fix the dresser at the bottom that he broke. I have not heard from them. Resolution Sought I am a victim of domestic violence I'm violated I'm ashamed. I'm hurt how they treated me how they handle my furniture how I took forever to move me how I reported it to the manager he hadn't called and tried to check on me or nothing college hunk & junk movers October 31 of 2023. It is a shame and say how the hotline of Victims Of Crime would refer me to unprofessional Movers I pray that someone will come to my rescue and fix my merchandise. My items that they destroyed.

Movers broke 3 glass shelves in our cabinet while moving it onto the truck. They also broke wooden shelves off the top part of our desks. They broke the dryer connection part. They damaged tool drawers which no longer close and open properly. Company only refunded 92 bucks. I called multiple times and they keep saying they will call but never have. We wasted 2K dollars for incompetent job performance. Resolution Sought 500 dollars in refund.
