College Oak Towing complaints

My wife called AAA to have my car towed, as my son had just rear ended another vehicle. The officer gave us the option to use our road side assistance policy with AAA insurance. I left work and arrived on scene, to make sure my vehicle was picked up by correct towing company and mostly to make sure my son was ok and got home ok. It took hour after I arrived for college Oaks Towing to get there. Mean while my wife is on phone with AAA and there company College Oaks Towing directing them to site. After speaking to driver from College Oaks he convinced me to have my vehicle towed to there lot. I asked him several times you sure there not going to charge me fees for having it there. He responded no since your AAA they wont do that. I asked again and explained that we have only AAA road side assistance not AAA full insurance. As we are only added to mother in laws AAA. He continues to say no they wont charge you anything. Side note/ the Driver was training another Tow truck driver so there are witnesses to this conversation. I believed the Driver even tipped him, because he was so nice and helpful. Well after calling and trying to get in and have vehicle towed to a dismantler no less then five times. I had taken day off for Doctors appointments. I decided to stop bye and see when it would be easiest to have car towed away i was informed that i owe at the time 1700 dollars to get car. Keep in mind the car was totaled and was worth maybe four hundred at high-end. Resolution Sought I would like the business to discharge the money they say I owe. For simple reason that there tow truck driver gave me bad information and even talked me into taking it there instead of just towing it home . His words ( You don't want an eye sore ) . I was told that manager would speak to driver and to call back. I did call back and left messages five times and sat on hold for near hour before hanging up realizing no one was going to address me.
