I hired Colonial Van lines to move me from Colorado Springs to Florida they said they did not bater out moving since I did not have anyone to move me at the time they went hired and d town movers from Texas to move my articles to Florida. D Town Movers came in April at the end of April to move my goods they evidently took it to Texas unloaded it a week later reloaded it and sent it to me but did not return all the articles that I had with my name and address on each article they took my mountain bike, my Cross country skis, which I've had since the 1968 or 70, my Vitamix, my hand truck, a lamp, which was never return to me with many calls to D Town Movers and Colonial to find my things and there had to be a paper trail somewhere which they never did anything about. Once they called and told me my article were not at the warehouse and delivered to another and I told how do you deliver to someone else when your name and address is on it that's pretty stupid not unless they can't read I asked him to go back and pick it up or contact the people that they delivered it to. But they weren't able to do that. there had to be a paper trail somewhere and get my articles back. Colonial Van Lines mention that if I took my bed apart then they would not put it back together so I let them do it which was not done according to my contract because the guy lost the screws to my bed plus he destroyed four drawers in the process by throwing it on the ground when he arrived. Resolution Sought Colonial Van Lines did not follow through with what I paid them for on their contract I did not pay for extra insurance so they closed the case and paid me $500 for everything that was broken and stolen they did not honor anything that they promised. Colonial they should be fined heavily for what they did and I should have received a full refund of 3500$. D Town Movers should lose their license for thievery.
