I've been applying for rental assistance since the beginning of 2022. I apply at the beginning of the month, once I'm contacted I'm told that someone else will contact me again, once I finally hear from someone I'm told what to turn in. I've already explained that I'm on a month to month contract so I can't wait until the end of the month to pay my rent. Now I've been approved before in 2019 but since then no matter what I turn in, I either don't hear anything back or once I pay the rent in the middle of the month I'm told " well we can't help you because you paid your rent." I also explained that once the property management contacts me to pay rent there's nothing I can do since I'm on a month to month. I gave turned paperwork after paperwork, I've been behind on everything ever since my surgery and home schooling my son which they( community action partnership) knows. The month of November I turned I every last piece of paperwork yet again. From the hardship letter to my month to month lease as well as my balance receipt. I was told I had every piece of paperwork yet again, and then last minute all of a sudden it turns into " now I need a ledger for all the months your behind." That's ridiculous in my opinion since I gave the rep my balance receipt. A ledger is completely irrelevant not to mention that was never asked of me before. I was also told that they go off of the date you apply and yet I keep getting a pointless run around. Resolution Sought I'd like to receive the help that I should have gotten when I applied because now I'm further behind and I have to pull out loans to pay other bills. So I'd like the assistance that I should have gotten in the first place.
