I dropped off my car August 31st still have not received my car. They won't let me have it back and they quoted me two different prices and I have a witness. They want to charge me the full price after messing up my paint job and the job is not complete. Resolution Sought I want my car back so I can have something to drive for the amount that was agreed. Minus the work that they are not competent to do plus the repair on the paint job.

I would like to introduce my Company Competition Sound been serving Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend since 1993. We are local retail independent business who employee at given time minimum of 11 employees to 15. We are Mobile Audio Specialist in Corpus Christi, and we are authorized dealer for all brands sold in our store. First, Mr. Lopez' picked up his vehicle before filing this complaint. We cannot allow a vehicle to leave our premises before payment in full for services performed. All services asked for by Mr. Lopez were completed before he left with it. Second, the paint issue with Mr. Lopez' vehicle is impossible for us to have done as it originated from under the paint itself. We had his vehicle towed to 3 different top quality body shops in our area. All the paint experts said the damage was from poor surface prep before the paint was even sprayed. Third, despite the fact we are not at fault for Mr. Lopez' paint issue, we tried to work with him. We sat down with him and settled on a lower price than was owed. It wasn't until a few days later that he attempted to pick up his vehicle without paying that problems really started. Because of this and other issues we cannot discuss, we believe we have the right to full payment for parts and services rendered. I tried my best to solve the problem with Mr. Lee but his continuous accusation and threat to our employees and company in general and refuse to pay his balance due since November last year left me with no choice but to collect the balance due with law enforcement present while he was asking to take his car without paying the remainder of balance owed on his car. We worked on his son's truck back in September and it was done in two days. In the past, we did work on previous cars for Mr. Lee, and all work was fine.
