A test drove a car 2 weeks before purchasing that morning he tested positive for covid and told me he had to sign the agreement the warranty I had to wait for FedEx to drop off title so I had to wait the next day in order to pick up vehicle due to covid I had to come at night to get car as I drove off I noticed a headlight was out I contacted him he told me to come see him that Monday Sunday I noticed the check engine light and contacted him again Tuesday when I was going to coming to have these resolved he then told me his father had a heart attack that he could not see me so I took it upon myself to have the car checked out by a mechanic finally when I got aggressive through text he told me the warranty should cover whatever the problems were the mechanic tested the car and checked it out and told me there were several problems in car was unsafe I then contacted warranty they do not cover most of these problems and now he's telling me I have to bring it to him but again his father is in the hospital I never got any paperwork from him nor did I get any warranty paperwork I also asked for a new vehicle and he told me none will be available but I can bring it by and he can give me a loaner but then again said that his father is in the hospital that I would have to wait several days in order to have this resolved I feel is very unprofessional. Resolution Sought I would like a working vehicle that is safe for me and my children or I would like for him to pay off the loan to the bank give me back my trade-in or the $1,000 cash value of the trade-in and I would like for this to be taken off my credit.
