Business Consumer Alliance Dispute Resolution Department RE: BCA Complaint, 28425 Brooks Lane, Southfield, MI 48034 Dear Sir or Madam: This is in response to the BCA complaint filed by Mr. Smith regarding complaint, ("Complaint"). Based upon a review of the loan referenced in the complaint, we have determined that Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. was trustee ("Wells Fargo") of the Aegis Asset Backed Securities Trust 2004-1 ("Trust"), which in turn owned the mortgage loan secured by the property located at 28425 Brooks Lane, ("Property"). Throughout the relevant time period when the Trust owned the mortgage loan, it was serviced by Chase Home Finance, LLC and it was reported as liquidated in 2009. Computershare Corporate Trust acts solely as agent on behalf of Wells Fargo as Trustee for the Trust and has only done so since November of 2021. At no time has Computershare Corporate Trust had a business or consumer relationship with Mr. Smith Jr. or to the above-referenced property. Since 2016, Mr. Smith has made multiple allegations and filed several complaints against Wells Fargo and Chase Bank with other agencies. Additionally, he has filed at least 34 Consumer Financial Protection Bureau complaints and directly contacted Wells Fargo via phone and email more than 40 times with complaints regarding the foreclosure and sale of the Property, all of which have been researched and could not be substantiated based on the mortgage loan servicer's review of its records. As described above, Computershare Corporate Trust has no current or past relationship to the loan or Property, and is not the appropriate entity to address any concerns relating to the loan. As such, we would respectfully request that any further inquiries from Mr. Smith on this topic be closed as duplicative, as there is no further relevant information to provide. Sincerely, ______/s/__________ Rebecca Graven Research/Remediation Analyst Computershare Trust Company, N.A. as agent for Wells Fargo cc: File ID: -1564258408 Computershare Corporate Trust Legal Notice Processing Group 9062 Old Annapolis Road Columbia, MD 21045 866-670-8601 FAX
