Company Response

At the time of move in, the carpet was in good clean condition with no damages as noted on the move in inspection for Mr. Rodriguez. There was a work order entered in March 2022 for small seam repairs in the carpet and as a courtesy, a vendor was scheduled, and repairs were made. Then again in May 2023, Mr. Rodriquez entered another work order for carpet concerns and at that time, the Vice President and current Community Director inspected the carpet in the apartment. Even though residents are responsible for all repairs not related to normal wear and tear, a different carpet repair vendor was scheduled, and it was repaired as a courtesy with no charges to the resident. Currently, there are no pending work orders for carpet repairs in the apartment and it is unknown to us if any exist. At the time the previous repairs were made, the carpet did not warrant a full replacement as Mr. Rodriguez is alleging. We will not be offering any discount or reimbursement as we have responded to all repairs as needed. Additionally, Mr. Rodriquez will be vacating the apartment on 4/30/24.
