I received a bogus invoice from Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in December of 2023 that was dated 8-25-21. I never once stepped foot into the Conemaugh Facility during the covid pandemic. They were charging my insurance over $1000 and trying to get me to pay a $50 balance. I called to inquire about the fraudulent charge and they told me it was for a visit where I supposedly had "abdominal pain". I never once had abdominal pain in my life and cannot even remember the last time I entered into a hospital and it especially was not during the covid pandemic. Resolution Sought I would obviously like this charge to go off of my record and I want my insurance company to be refunded. I am completely astounded that something like this could ever happen and I wonder how many other people Conemaugh is sending bogus invoices to. I would like there to be an investigation into their finances and if I am not the only victim in this matter, I would like others to be compensated for this disgraceful business practice.
