BCA's Summary and Analysis:

Some complainants allege problems with installations or with receiving credits or refunds when installations do not occur. Other complainants consider the company's free promotional offer to be misleading as they actually did incurr costs to have dish systems installed. A few complainants allege they were advised they were ineligible for the free installtion offers because there was no "clear line of southern sight" visible from their house making the dish inoperable. ~~The company responds to some complaints by issuing credits or refunds. Other responses directed the complainants to return their original certificate along with any equipment received within 30 days for a refund of their deposit less the $20 delivery charge. Some complainants are not satisfied with the $20 delivery fee deducted from their refund amount. Other complaints remain unresolved meaning the customer is not satisfied with the company's responses. Some complaints remain unanswered.~~In advertising the word free* should only be used when the advertiser is offering an unconditional gift. If receipt of the free product or service is conditional on making a purchase the advertiser must clearly and conspicuosly disclose the terms together with the free offer (not by using and asterick* along with footnote). The term free should mean at no cost to you.
