Complainants allege telemarketers contact customers they already have credit card numbers for, to solicit a free trial of the product with no cost or obligation. Some customers are informed of the shipping costs, while others report it is a completely free offer. Most customers state they do not provide their credit card number during the initial solicitation; however, the last four digits of the card are read back to them or monies are debited from their accounts later. Complaints further allege they are delivered and charged for unordered products despite declining additional services. Other customers allege, the company fails to issue refunds for returned products or shipping and handling charges on unauthorized orders, or non-delivery of the product.

The company responds to some complaints by issuing refunds minus shipping and handling, agreeing to a refund once merchandise is returned, and canceling future shipments. In other cases, refunds are denied and the company states they have recordings of the customer agreeing to the charges. Some customers dispute these responses stating they are selectively recording the calls. .
