I recently purchase an Cosmo oven from Lowes. Within weeks of getting the appliance it broke. After going back and forth with the manufacturer Cosmo to repair it they stated the appliance does not belong to me therefore they will not repair it. When I originally when to Lowes to pick out appliances for our home I put my contractors name on the "quote" incase he was going to pick them up, well the salesperson left his name on the document and then used that quote to ring up our sale. The appliance where picked out by me, purchased by me and delivered to my home. After going back and forth for weeks with Cosmo, they informed me they will not fix it because my contractors name appears on the sale document (Lowes never removed it even though we had lowes deliver the appliance) . The contractor did not pick out, pay for, or deliver the appliance to our home yet Cosmo States he owns the oven and they will not fix it. They had me go back and forth doing testing, having to put my head in the oven remove the bottom panel, turn on the controls and video tape the whole thing, Mind you I am a 65 disabled woman and this was impossible to do so I had to hire someone to do it for me. after numerous correspondence with the Como customer service they informed me that I do not own my oven, my contractor does. Mind you he never even entered the store on my behalf, did not pay for it or deliver it. I did. I sent documents to Cosmo to back up our appliance and they refuse to fix it Resolution Sought I want the manufacture to honor their warranty and fix my oven. The warranty should follow the appliance not a person not affiliated with me. He was a general contract renovating my home months ago.

I purchased a 36" (Cosmo) gas range at Lowe's in June of 2023. The oven came with a 1 year manufacturers warranty and I also purchased an additional 5 years of coverage. December of 2023, about 6 months after purchase, the oven stopped working. I contacted Cosmo and began the claims process. About a month later Cosmo shipped the replacement parts to my home in Morgantown, WV. This was in January of 2024. The earliest I was told that a technician could come to my home for the repairs was (February 8th 2024) two months after the initial claim! At the time of the service call me and my family were out of town so my mother was at my house for the service call. The technician told my mother that the parts "that were sent to me by Cosmo" were the WRONG parts. Oven still not working! Over the next several weeks I was in contact with Cosmo through email and telephone calls. Cosmo says that the parts they sent are correct. (FOUR) MORE service calls were scheduled (AND CANCELLED) by Cosmo and the servicing company Cosmo enlisted. I took days off of work for each of these (scheduled service call dates)! The most recent was today, Thursday 3/7/24!!! I keep trying to get my oven fixed but Cosmo keeps giving me the run around!!!!! I have asked to just get a refund and return the oven to Lowe's but Cosmo (REFUSES) to do this! Resolution Sought I would very much like to be refunded the entire purchase amount plus the cost of additional warranty! At this point the oven has not been working nearly as long as it was working! Cosmo is dragging this out and soon the one year manufacturer warranty will expire!
