I was unaware that I parked in a private parking lot ABM Parking located on Apple St across from Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton Ohio. I was having a procedure done at the hospital and we parked there at 1pm. When we returned to the parking lot at 1:50 pm my car had been towed. An attendant came out from her car and issued me the parking ticket $75. After paying the parking ticket I was told where my car had been towed. My husband and I had to find a ride to Cottman Towing, we then had to pay $160 to retrieve the car. The company was very unprofessional. We couldn't come get the car until they came back from lunch. When we waited an additional hour, we went to the towing company and they were leaving and told us we had to wait again until they got back. I insisted that we couldn't wait. We paid $160.00 for the towing fee. My husband and I are seniors and we both have trouble walking. The attendant could have informed us that it was a private lot and the fee was $3. The ticket was issued at 1:08pm and they immediately called the towing company. I understand I parked in the wrong lot and was issued parking violation, but to have the car towed was completely unacceptable. The hospital had given me instructions to park on Apple St parking lot, as I mentioned before I did not know I had parked in the wrong lot. There was plenty parking spaces available. Resolution Sought Refund $160 for having my car towed
