I bought a 2015 dodge grand caravan from them at the end of February 2023. They sold me this vehicle knowing that the transmissions on these cars had been recalled. They were very unprofessional but we needed a car, they only "had that as an option" for us due to credit at the time. We maintained the car very well over the past 11 months and the transmission went out on me while driving with my daughters. We still owe on this car, they aren't being very helpful in trying to resolve the issue especially knowing they sold it to us knowing that our year make and model vehicle had a recall on those transmissions. I feel like they should have replaced it before they sold it to us. I only found out about the recall trying to Google why my car wouldn't move out of nowhere when it was just fine. Resolution Sought Give a refund or replace the car or pay off the remaining balance of our loan so it doesn't affect our credit since they were fully aware of this being an issue when they sold it to us

Company states; In review of the Sale of the 2015 Dodge Caravan it is our policy to inspect each vehicle we put up for retail sale. Under the inspection we do service maintenance and access all safety aspects of the vehicle. The vehicle is then evaluated for warranty availability. This vehicle was sold in AS IS – NO DEALER WARRANTY based on mileage at time of sale: ____157759_________________ The vehicle was delivered on 02/23/2023 and was 8 years old exceeding age restricting warranty qualifications. The vehicle service records, wear and tear, mileage applied were unknown to us during their use of ownership. Manufacture recalls are administered to registered owners.
