I purchased a used yukon danali from crater lake ford and during test drive all appeared fine and things looked fine. I brought the Danali back a week later for a full detail. Waited 9 hours for it to be completed and then returned to pick it up. I proceeded to walk around the vehicle inspecting how they did and how it turn out. When looking at it I discovered very large flakes of thin metal pealing off the inner wheel and the crome was also pealing this condition was pretty bad and was on all four tires. I then brought it to the attention of the salesman whom sold me the vehicle and he proceeded to bring it to the attention of management. Many employees of crater lake ford came out to look at it and take pictures and a few of them completely agreed with my complaint and concern of the issue. I then sat down to speak with management and before I spoke with them I called around to see if the wheels could be re dipped in chrome. I found out that no where in the state of Oregon dips wheels in chrome and that our only option would be new or used wheels. So when management sat down to talk they asked what we were gonna do and I explained what I had found out so I suggested new wheels and they said "absolutely not". They proceeded to tell me that they had a "wheel guy" and that they would get in touch with him and see if they could help with the issue. They then insured me that they would figure out a dollar amount they though was fair to put into making the issue right. Resolution Sought I asked for them to put it in writing what they said they would do and they were quick to ignore me and send me on my way. After many phone calls over the next 6 weeks they had an excuse why they hadn't helped me. I since had to buy new wheels cause my tires were going flat do to the issue brought to their attention. I would like for them to pay for the new wheels and give me compensation for leading me on and not doing what was right a total of $5000.00
