Customers complainthey agreed to receive a free credit report on the company's website, giving a credit or debit card number for the activation fee of $2.95. Customers complain of unauthorized debits or charges to their credit or bank accounts for products or services they did not recall ordering, or receiving. Some complainants report they fail to receive the free credit report as advertised. Other customers claim they are unable to cancel, or that the company continues to bill them after cancellations are submitted. In some cases customers report that unrelated rental listing sites required them to use this company's site to obtain a free credit report which they were billed for at a later date.

The company responds to some complaints by advising the complainant to contact the company who billed them, or by disputing the allegations and defending that the website has adequate disclosures with concern to the terms and conditions of the free trial offer.
