On Oct. 22nd I messaged them through their customer service portal, revoking ACH authorization and requesting for my account to de deactivated. As per their guidelines on their website I gave them more than 3 full business days before the scheduled payment for them to be able to process the request. I received a "request submitted successfully" once I had sent it and access to the account was deactivated in around an hour. Today Oct. 30th, Credit Genie took money out of my account, 112.99, even though I followed their guidelines for them to no longer have access to my account. I contacted their customer service via email, and they are claiming no such request was submitted to them, even though they deactivated my account right after my request, proving they indeed receive the request. I want my money refunded to me, as they are fraudsters who unlawfully took money from my account without consent Resolution Sought Refund the money that was taken out of my account.

We received a message from the user on October 30, 2024, stating they had sent an email the week prior. Unfortunately, we could not locate any other communication from the provided email address. We shared this information with the user and proceeded to process their request the same day. As a reminder, per our terms and conditions, we require notification at least three full business days before the scheduled debit date. This notification must include the email and phone number associated with the mobile app account. Without the correct and complete information, it may not be possible to stop the withdrawal of the preauthorized transaction. When a user takes a cash advance they agree to repay the advance as per the Terms and Conditions, something this user is not willing to do, so although they state they want their money refunded to them, it is not really theirs. However even though the user could not provide proof of the earlier email, we have issued a refund for their advance repayment as a courtesy.

Charged a bank connection fee that was not in the initial sign up. When disputing they send their digital records claiming that I agreed to it when there was nothing in the sign up about it. I randomly had a 4.99 charge taken from my bank account. Resolution Sought Refund the bank connection fee
