I am a tenant at creekside apartments in Minden Louisiana. Ran by cross country management. I've lived there 4 years. In those four years I either can't get anything fixed or it's like getting teeth pulled to get it done. I went through a rent assistance program that paid my rent from April 2020 to November 2020 unbeknownst to me until the end of October. In that time they were still taking the money I was able to give them. They still have the audacity to harass me over rent because I am currently 300 behind when technically they owe me I feel like! I have a bad hot water tank that needs to be replaced. The gas man put a caution sign on it saying do not use need to be fixed or replaced he wouldn't even light it himself. All the landlord people did was take the sticker off and light it them selves. I guess forget my safety. Resolution Sought I would just like the money that I feel they owe me to be paid towards my rent until we are even. April to November is 7 months. My rent is 400. That makes a total of 2800. On top of the 700 I gave them over the span of those 7 months because I didn't know my rent was paid.
