2013 Nissan Altima lower link was recalled by Nissan. Crown Nissan replaced the control link and stated it was the control arm replaced. They are the same part # and same part. Resolution Sought Want my $90.00 tow fee and $297.00 back for repairs that were recalled by Nissan

The charge is for a bent control arm that wasn't under the recall. We called him and told him we couldn't guarantee the alignment with the bent arm. We had to take the arm off to do the recall so he did not pay any labor. The customer had to pay $197.31 pertaining to this R.O. Pictures sent to BCA explaining what was covered under the Recall and what was not. The problem is once one breaks it causes the other to break or bend which unfortunately Nissan does not cover both.

One of the RECALLED arms was bent due to the failure of the other being rusted away and breaking. The kit came with 2 arms to be replaced. I knew dealing with Crown in Decatur was a huge mistake and will never do business again. At first their response was the recall has been outdated and I had to pay for it all. Then they changed their story and I only have to pay for 1. I was supposed to be reimbursed for my tow which never happened either. Crown Nissan/Toyota or Miles Chevrolet will never sell me another vehicle
