I advised that I would like to cancel. I advised that I could provide documentation of unemployment and hospitalization of the person I had to provide care and was advised that the full bill had to be paid before I could cancel. I asked for legal department was not answered in regards to several emails. According to Failure to honor cancellation: If you followed the proper cancellation procedure and the company continues to charge you for new service, this could be an unfair and deceptive practice. This is a primary target of consumer protection laws. Making cancellation difficult: In 2024, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) passed a "click-to-cancel" rule requiring companies to make the cancellation process for subscriptions as simple as the enrollment process. Requiring you to jump through excessive "hoops" to cancel is illegal. This goes against being able to cancel and require hoops to cancel a membership thats no longer ble to be used. Resolution Sought Stop billing and remove or stop billing to allow me to make payments on due balance

The practice of Crunch Tulsa prohibiting cancellations while allowing the balance to continue increasing until the full amount is paid is unreasonable and unacceptable.

I joined Crunch Fitness when I was 15 years old. At that time I was a minor and therefore not legally capable of entering a binding contract, yet Crunch enrolled me in a personal training program. Over the course of several months I was charged a total of $700 for personal training services that were never provided. After each payment I was told by Crunch staff that a trainer would contact me when one became available, but no trainer ever contacted me and no services were delivered. In addition to the $700 for personal training, Crunch charged multiple annual/recurring fees to my account without proper authorization or explanation. After reviewing my bank statements I discovered that Crunch charged my account for more than $1,000 in total unauthorized or wrongful charges. On a recent visit to the Topeka location I attempted to resolve this matter in person and gave Crunch one more chance to make it right. Staff issued me a seven-day trial card but then told me I could not use it because I had a prior membership — a restriction that was not disclosed on the trial card itself and contradicted the fact that staff had just issued the card. I have repeatedly attempted to contact Crunch (by phone, in person, and via membership channels) to request a refund or proper accounting; every time I have either been ignored or received no substantive response. I am seeking either a full refund of the $1000 I paid for unused personal training services or a complimentary one-ye Resolution Sought I've stated to them in multiple emails I would accept a full refund or a complimentary 1 year membership.
