The cement contractors never completed my garage foundation area and left stained cement and chips on my entire property. The painters were horrible and would not come back to finish the work. I've been going back and forth with the warranty company for nothing. Resolution Sought i would like the business to finish what they started. they rushed through it and left it incomplete

Thank you for sharing our customer's concerns regarding the garage concrete and paint touch up items. D.R. Horton has been in communication with the customer regarding these matters. The customer was informed that the concrete in the garage was completed as planned and the referenced area is a normal transition. The discoloration was not noted during the customer's pre-closing orientation or the walkthrough. As this does not represent a defect in material or workmanship and is simply cosmetic in nature, this work was, respectfully, denied as not covered by warranty. Non-urgent matters are resolved by D.R. Horton 14 days after closing and 11 months after closing. The customer was informed that the touch up concerns would be addressed during the scheduled 11 month review. D.R. Horton will continue to work with the customer and will ensure all warrantable repairs are appropriately resolved.

If someone came to inspect the property they would've seen the incomplete foundation in the garage. The main stain at my front entrance is definitely a defect within the cement and an eyesore along with the other stains. The cement company is getting over on the warranty company and new homeowners with their sloppy and incomplete work. Shame on them! What a disappointment and a learning experience.
