My family walked in this restaurant on Sat 5/22/21 at 6:02pm for dinner. The front desk girl put my name on the waiting list. She told me wait time is about 30-45mins. We are continuing waiting and I checked back with her after 30mins, she stated should be get seated in a second. After 10mins, I noticed people who came after me get seated however she never call my name. I am continue waiting and after another 10mins, I approached her asked her why she didn't call me. She pretends she doesn't know me and stated my name is not on the waiting list. I showed her the text message sent from her at beginning when I was initially on the waiting list. She stated I called you but I missed the call. Lol!!! I was sitting in front of her under her eyes and I noted she stepped out to call other customers not me. She then had a very bad attitude towards me and rolling her eyes to me. She made me lost of my appetite. I was get seated finally. I walked talk to her but she yelled at me and very rude. I told the server I need talk to the manager but the server stated the manager not available. I told the server again I need talk to the front desk girl then the server come to me said the manager will coming. The manager came in stated he can't asked the front desk girl say sorry to me because this is USA, he can't force his staff do the thing they don't want. Lol!!! This restaurant bring me bad experience and I can't sleep for over 2 nights. I started diarrhea after I get home. Resolution Sought Front desk girl apologize to me. Restaurant compensated me $500 for food poison

First of all, this customer is telling a story from a very narrow angle. We use the yelp waitlist system to get names and phone numbers from customers waiting in line. Once we put the name, it lists in order received and we text or call the customer in line. She was a party of 4, and we called some parties of 2s because there are tables designed that ONLY 2 people can sit so obviously they would get seated first if there is an open table. Also she wouldn't know who is first, because how the system works is that you can put your name down ahead of time before you come into the restaurant. She was harassing my hostess the whole time until she got seated. There were several customers waiting at the waiting area who witnessed HER yelling AT the hostess. After her party got seated, she kept harassing the other staff, nonstop complaining about the hostess's attitude. It's a weekend night and really busy, but she kept holding onto our staff complaining. She stayed over 2 HOURS eating (even though she claimed she lost appetite.. looking at all the plates and loads of seafood shells, I am sure she had a full meal). Also, she FIRST asked about a discount to her server. Later the manager went to speak, and they held onto him for about 20minutes or more lecturing/demanding apology and complaining. In the end, we did not charge ONE PERSON out of FOUR PEOPLE and finally her family left. Also, we are a hotpot place, I hardly ever had people complain about having food poisoning. This only feels like revenge or some kind of grudge that she cannot let go of and is trying to get even more out of that situation, especially after writing bad reviews everywhere she can find even after getting the discount she wanted. If she was sick or had food poisoning, she should have gone to the doctor's office and then notified the restaurant about what happened, NOT blackmailing into paying her.

It is really ridiculous for receiving this response. It is totally disrespectful. First of all, my family walked in this restaurant then has been told to wait for 30-45mins waiting time. The restaurant sent the Yelp linking for checking the status of waiting list. It is not myself put my party of 4 on the Yelp waiting list. I was sitting in seating area in front of the hostess, I am fully aware of which party who came after me. If I don’t approach the hostess, we won’t get seated forever. After I approached the hostess since we didn’t get seated, she made her face and yelled me: “ I can’t do anything.” I found at least 6 group’s got seated who came after me then I approached her. She was stating that she called me however I missed her call. Lol!!! We were sitting in front of the desk how we can missed her call???? It’s all party 4-6 ppl she arranged not only the party of 2. After we seated, I told the waiter that I would like talk to the manager. However the waiter stated manager is too busy, no time for us. The waiter’s name is Paul and he is lying to me stated the manager went home earlier on that day and he can’t do anything for me. Lol!!! We stayed 2 hours??? Another fake...
