I was first told my roofing job would cost $10,000.00. I was not told they would rip off old flat roof. They were suppose to go over it. It was not leaking. Over 20 years ago it had leaked, and I had it fixed . It hadn't leaked since. So what they show me was old water stains. So he made me do a roof over. Starting on peak. This he charged another $15,000.00. He is very pushy, he had me in a spot. A roof torn off. My husband and myself are both disabled. We felt we had no choice. So $25,000.00 dollars later I had a new metal roof. The first big rain fall I had a leak. They came a did a patch job with caulk. Hole is a a quarter size. It took a while to figure out, because it is in a bad spot. We are physically unable to get up stairs to see if we have any other leaks. I feel for $25,000.00 I should have a roof that doesn't leak. Not a patch job that won't last more than 10 years. It's like patching the roads. They don't last. I'm pretty sure a patch job will not last the 40 years he supposed to have guaranteed. Plus I feel he over charged me, mislead me when he gave the the quote. He lied about fixing my shed, said he would but then backed out Resolution Sought I want the roof done right not with a patch job. Also, want it inspected for any other holes, leaks, or problems. I just feel I was taken advantage of and want the roof I paid for done correctly.

Company states: I went to the customer's home yesterday, I never forced the customer to do anything. I went over there today and made the necessary repairs. I advised the customer that if her roof leaks again I will replace the entire roof. I also adivised the customer that I will replace her TV and her carpet since it was ruined by the water leak.
