Company Response

Company states; The customer Mr. Parker Jr, paid a down payment totaling $17,901.89. The reason why this vehicle could not be financed, was due to the falsified pay stubs provided by the customer. After multiple attempts to contact customer and resolve this issue, we had no response. The vehicle was then placed for repossession, and discovered that the GPS that was disclosed and signed by Mr. Parker at the time of purchase, had now been disconnected. In order to locate the vehicle, a finance investigator was hired, repossession company. On Feb 13, 2023, we mailed a certified notice of intention to dispose of Motor Vehicle. This letter provided the customer the information he needed in case he wanted a chance to redeem the vehicle. This notice also mentioned that after 15 days from the date of notice, the vehicle would be placed for sale. This letter stated the following "In the event that we dispose (sell) your vehicle, we will credit your contract with the monies received from the disposition (sale) of your vehicle less our costs. If we receive less money than you owe on your vehicle, you will still owe us the deference (difference). If we receive more money than you owe on your contract, we will pay you the extra money unless we are obligated to pay it to someone else". As a result, between the fees to locate and transport the vehicle back to us; and then fix the vehicle and get ready for sale, the total exceeds the amount received from the second sale. Therefore, no monies are due to Mr. Parker Jr.
