Company is contractor for whirlpool warranty. Technician came to look at whirlpool oven 9/9/24 and found the control board need replacing. Company order part and returned 9/13/24 to replace. While trying to replace the part the technician broke something else causing the display panel to no longer work. All stove top functions were working prior to the technician working on oven the 9/13/24. Now the stove top is not functioning correctly. Range isn't even put back together as it was and should be. Resolution Sought Replacement of range Since their technician already attempted to repair and cause more damage.

Company states; Per tech notes; "Unit would take too long to heat over. Installed ne ACU & display board. Only went up to 170 in ten minutes. While checking bake element, found red wire was burnt off torn, block. Also, black & white nuts also loose. Ordering new harness & black". We do not touch the wires @ the terminal Block that was the cause of the ACU failure and continued issues, which we will be rectifying. We not "Break" anything else. Whoever installed the range didn't secure the wiring properly. We will return to repair when the additional item comes in and are in no way responsible for this.

Since this complaint was filed almost a month ago and much time has passed since. This complaint was filed after the first tech Jose came pushed a few buttons and said it was the control board. When Jose returned to replace that piece, he INDEED, broke a piece to the display panel causing that to no longer work. This company refuses to acknowledge that their tech Jose screwed up. Even the supervisor that I spoke with that day 9/13/24, had the mentality of, if it’s not on video it didn’t happen. If Jose did a thorough job to begin with, none of this would have went this far and left me without a range for a month. The second tech Joe replaced both pieces (control board and display panel) and did his due diligence to investigate afterwards. The second tech Joe found an issue, which yes is not this company’s fault. With all that said, this issue is now finally resolved and no further action is needed.
