Davis Agriculture & Ranch Cleanup more than exceeded my expectations. Jack is a true arborist, not a tree trimmer. He did a magnificent job on my trees! There have been a number of tree trimmers in my neighborhood trimming my neighbor trees that have asked for an estimate. Their quality of work is terrible. I look at my neighbors’ trees and there is not much left and the trees are hacked up. My neighbor told me they would use Jack the next time after looking at my trees. There some trees on the next block and I don’t see any new growth on their trees. My trees responded so quickly after Jack trimmed them. The trees did not look like they were trimmed, it had 2nd and 3rd growths within a few weeks and they looked vigorous. He also removed a tree and did an excellent job. They were very clean and efficient and did not leave a mess when they were finished.

There is a big difference between using an arborist verses a tree trimmer. An arborist knows how to select main branches to leave. Davis Agriculture & Ranch Cleanup did not come in to cut first and ask questions later. Jack determined which branches need to be removed. He even suggested that I remove some of the re-growth. His customer service was excellent. I knew when he was coming and he was here when he said. He was always prompt and left the job site clean. When we called him the first time for an estimate, he came by that afternoon. His prices are hard to compare to a tree trimmer because an arborist puts so much time in trimming the tree and examines every branch of the tree. A tree trimmer simply will clear out the tree and your hope is that something will grow afterwards. You really cannot compare prices because you get what you pay for.

I will be using Davis Agriculture & Ranch Cleanup again and my mother has already had her tree trimmed. Jack is definitely honest and clean. He does what he says he is going to do. He does not cut corners and in fact he will go overboard even if it takes longer to complete the job. He does not charge more. The price he quotes is the price he charges. He trimmed over 20 trees for me. Jack explains things to you. He asked me to watch his method of trimming and the decisions he had to make. I learned how to make a tree look natural. He showed me how the branches form and told me to keep the curves in a tree to make it look more natural. He let me know when I go back to trim the secondary growth, not to just leave the ones that grow straight up. We had this property landscaped so it looks like you are in the forest. Jack really appreciates the trees. I wish I would have hired him sooner, so the trees would have more structure from the beginning. Jack let me know he would call me back in a few years to follow up and to see the progress. If anyone is looking for someone to take care of their trees they should hire an arborist like Jack, instead of a tree trimmer. Make sure you use a licensed and bonded company. It's worth every penny!
