I was hacked on cash app in August had been trying to work with the Air credit Union to recover the funds they have shifted the responsibility back on me to figure out what was fraudulent what was not after giving them the paperwork. When the fraudulent activity started they flagged the account and continued to pay out to the fraudulent resource. There was no money in my checking account because when I opened the account they put the money in the wrong account which was savings. So when the fraudulent activity started they withdrew money from my savings account to put into my checking to cover the charges and charge me for transferring that money without my knowledge. I provided all the information that they ask for so it could be compared to the activity in my account. I feel like that they have not done their job to prevent this fraudulent activity and they did not contact me when it began and I have done all the work to try to get my money back without any assistance from them. They allowed the activity to continue which drained my account negative over $600 not to mention the money that is now missing.This is a brief description of what happened please contact me for further details. Resolution Sought I would like all the money recovered that was for project activity on my account.

Company states: We have reviewed the account and the transactions that the member was referring to. After researching, we can see where the member's Day Air debit card was not compromised, rather it was her cash app account that was compromised. Day Air does not have any ability to dispute the cash app transactions as it is not our product, nor do we have chargeback rights to these transactions. Out of good faith, at the time fees were waived associated with these transactions.

You are in fact saying that the card was not compromised but the routing and account number was. Not only that being the issue as the checking account had no balance to fund the transactions so the bank(not account holder) continued to transfer the funds to cover the transactions and add fees as well. Ultimately closing the account with a negative balance of over $600 It seems that would be covered under fraud protection as well as the western union transaction that was also denied but moments later when the transaction was attempted again was approved and again transfered the funds from savings to checking and paid out. Dayair flagged the account fraudulent but continued to allow the trasactions denying them at first but allowing when another attempt was made on several. How that was approved Stopping the activity after fraudlent activity was suspected, the bank or automated system supported and assisted instead acting on my behalf. I am a disabled veteran and live based on honor and loyalty as i gave my word to you and my country. If not for this during my service what would it all have meant? I honored and kept my word. I expect no less from you.

There is some confusion in which transactions you are claiming to be fraud on the account you had with Day Air.
