I purchase a brand New Wood Cutter 60.30 sn:10008630243024 Stock number W15365 Price 3200.00 paid Cash on November 17 2022 Took this unit home and start cutting my grass within one hour of cutting this unit start smoking, i Immediate turned this unit off and call DeViney about the situation. Deviney told me to bring this unit back to there store. I did the following day. They explain that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to repair and they would call me. 6/7 weeks later i call them to check on the status of the repairs and was told that the company would not pay for repairs and i would have to pay for labor and cost of the motor in this unit. I ask him why i wasn't notified by phone or email about the decision they made after 7 weeks of silence. He did not give me an answer so i ask to speak to his manager of Supervisor, he said call back tomorrow they were out to lunch. I tried everything and my problem was not resolve. Could never speak with his manager. Finally i realized they were playing me. Resolution Sought Repair the Unit or total refund

Company states; Spoke to Mr. Childress apologized for any communication issue from our company. Told him I did speak to woods and they authorized a goodwill claim (although the repair was not a defect in material). Explained that Mr. Childress would not have to pay the $233.51 repair and we would bring his cutter back and pick up our loaner cutter (which he has had since 11/28/22) at no charge to him. He declined offer. We agreed to purchase cutter back from Mr. Childress and go pick up our loaner from his property. We have picked up our cutter and have Mr. Childress's check.
