If you are looking to screen in your porch this summer, DO NOT use DH Landscaping/Dan Haney! I am only writing this after being ghosted. The guy won't call or text us back. Last year 2023 we paid him a lot of money (way too much come to find out) to do a porch extension and also screen in our small porch area. For the sake of leaving a full and honest review, I will tell you that the guy he uses (Derek) to do the stone work for porch extensions is phenomenal and did great work. He should start his own company. The screened in porch is another story. Come to find out, ours was only the 2nd one he had been contracted to do and he should have been transparent about that. We have had two different contractors look at it and pick apart the shotty job and finished product. Last summer he came to look at our screens flapping in the wind and said that maybe it was due to the extreme heat. He literally looked at me and said, "I mean, what do you want me to do"? Ummm fix it and do a good job at your job please. He then stated that after the temps dropped in the Fall (last Fall) he would come and look at it and reassess. The screens are not tight. They look awful. The screen door is falling apart and and gets stuck every time we try to open it. I gave him many opportunities to, at the very least, have a conversation and he chose to ignore us so I will be leaving reviews on every platform I can possibly find to save other families from the headache this has been for us. Resolution Sought Give a refund for the money it will take to have it fixed.

In response to the accusations in the complaint. I do feel as though it doesn't paint exactly the scenario that transpired. Several things were not mentioned in the recollection of events. I tried my best to address and accommodate the Clients concerns during the construction process. I replaced the screening on the Weood Framing on three different occasions. The third and Final time I actually hired a reputable Handyman Service here in our Neighborhood to replace the screening, however, Ms. Hendrick would not be satisfied. She failed to mention that I rpelaced a portion of the screen on 2 different occasions at no addtional cost to her when her dog ran through the screen tearing the screen from the framing. Not really sure if her dog also ran through the screen door and broke it. The door was fine when I completed the project. There was $1000.00 balance left on the account tha I never asked no tried to get from her due to her not being satisfied. Furthermore, she is seeking $2850.00 in reimbursement, I have also attached (for BCA to review) a copy of the Invoice between her and I. The screen porch line item was for a total of $3400.00. That included Framing, Screen and a Wooden Slat wall. Not to mention the remaining balance. No more relevant than some of the accusations that she made. I also took it upon myself at no additional cost to her to completely reconstruct her Child's Playhouse that was destroyed by inclement weather. I think this speaks volumes to my character as a person, not some type of irresponsible terrible person that she is making me out to be. She has single handedly destroyed my reputation in my neighborhood that I have completed more than 50 other projects for my fellow neighbors. This just goes to show how one person can destroy a person's livelihood that has taken several years to build.
