I bought a 2006 Nissan 350z Grand Touring Roadster vehicle from Diplomat Motors and this dealership did not honor the warranty. At this dealership, all vehicles have a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty. When I received the vehicle, there was an issue with the convertible top, two days into the 30 day warranty. When I contacted the dealership and explained to them about the convertible top issue, the director of sales told me to find a repair shop and send him a copy of the repair cost. After sending him a copy of the quote that I received from the repair shop, he told me that the warranty does not cover the convertible top. I told him that the warranty is a bumper to bumper warranty and that the convertible top is a part of the vehicle, he refused to send me the money to get the top fixed. We went back and forth through phone calls and text messages about getting the top fixed and eventually, he stopped replying to my messages. Also, when I called, no one would answer the phone. I told the director of sales that all I wanted was to get the convertible top fixed. It's not like the repair cost was $3,000. It was only $391. Everything else on the vehicle works great. I just want to get my convertible top fixed. Resolution Sought I would like Diplomat Motors to pay for the cost of getting my convertible top fixed since the issue happened within the 30 days of the bumper to bumper warranty.
