I have been suspended from Discord for "child safety." I believe this is a false ban, and many users have been banned for this reason. I don't remember doing anything wrong. Resolution Sought I would love it if my account were unsuspended and an account investigation were run. Even if I did anything wrong, I would still like the business to unsuspend me and give me a second chance if possible because Discord means a lot to me. I have many people added there and I am a moderator in many servers.

As a member of the Discord community over the past years, I have always been a kind and well meaning member, as well as have held active close friendships through the platform. Additionally, I have maintained a monthly paid Discord Nitro subscription. In late July 2025, my account was disabled, due to alleged violation of the terms of service. I firmly believe this action was false-positive, and inconsistent with published moderation policies. I submitted 11 separate appeals, between July 2025 to March 2026, to no response. Discord's moderation policies and public statements regarding "free expression" are misleading, and the platform failed to provide the transparent moderation and meaningful appeal process promised. The account termination was arbitrary, automated, and unfair. My consumer right to redress was violated. As a paying customer, I believe this conduct constitutes a violation of the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA, Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1750 et seq.), specifically Section 1770(a)(5) and (a)(7), which prohibit: Representing that goods or services have characteristics they do not possess; and Representing that a transaction confers rights, remedies, or benefits that it does not. As a result of the actions of Discord Inc, I have lost my only connection to my friends. This has caused me emotional and personal damage, as well as loss of friendships. Resolution Sought I request the following remedies under the CLRA: Immediate reinstatement of my account; Written confirmation that my account termination was reversed and that no record of false violations will remain. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 10 days, I may pursue all legal remedies available under California law.
