Bought a car through Discover that is used as is vehicle assuming the car still would have all the proper inspections and at least be road ready! After having the car for 48 hours the check engine light came on so I took the car back to them to have it checked. After they took a week to look at the car they finally called and said the car needed a mass air flow sensor and it had a shake to the engine so it would need a motor mount. They charged me for the air flow sensor and wanted to charge for the mount mount but I declined. I feel this situation is very unfair to any customer. Their cars should be thoroughly checked before they are being financed. Now I have a vehicle that still needs repair work and they won't help but expect me to make my payments. The sales person Lance is very rude and not worthy of employment. He would not help me even after multiple attempts to get my car taken care of. He feels they can hide behind a as is clause even though there is a such thing as a lemon law or the Ohio consumer sales practice act which states the if a dealer fails to provide written disclosure information or if the car has a significant defect that is not corrected after several attempts buy my be eligible for a refund or replacement. All I'm asking for is the money back that I paid for the mass air flow sensor repair and the motor mount to be fixed to avoid damage to the engine. Their mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and repaired the sensor. 18yrs old 1st car! Sad experience! Resolution Sought Fix the motor mount and refund any money paid for repairs and do better as a company with customer service because without customers you don't have a business
