On 9/23/22, I went to the office a tall skinny lady told me they're going to take care of everything with the divorce. Meaning custody of kids, I didn't have to worry all I needed to do served the person with the papers & after they'll take care of everything. I called 01/19/23 & a lady named Alicia answered the phone. I told her I had called a few times and they haven't been able to tell me what's going on with the process then she mentioned that the other party responded claiming something. I asked her what's the other party clamming she said I don't know then I said how come are you guys supposed to take care of everything? She reply NO, if everything comes out good yes but if there's any problems no. I asked her then why did the lady that helped me on the first day said you guys will take care of everything, then I should of just done it on my own & save me money. Then she said you need to go to court bring us the papers then we can see what is he clamming. I told her it was very unfair they just stealing people's money in reality they don't speak clear to you. Then she said is not our problem that he's clamming something I then reply I already paid all you guys fees why do I have to go to court & get the papers on my own you need to understand that the lady that helped me the first told me very clearly that your office will take care of all the process as long as I paid you guys $750 on time, which I did then she said if you don't stop talking in going to Hung up. Resolution Sought Refund my money so I can go somewhere else to get help she hung up the phone on me I really feel very humiliated I paid $750 & now I don't have the money to get help somewhere else and the fact that she's very unprofessional to the point to Hung up the phone on a client says a lot please help me all I want is my money to go to a place where the people is honest ethical & speak clear to you not just rob your money and let you on your own with no remorse knowing that you're a low income person.

Our office charges $750.00 for an uncontested divorce with children. The $750 includes filing all documents necessary for a divorce, fee waiver, copies, envelopes requested from court and filing the documents at court the 4 or more times. A divorce in California has 4 steps and those documents need to be filed at separate times. We also mentioned the time a simple divorce if the other party agrees would be 6 months, and neither party needs to go to court. When starting our services we explain to our clients this. When giving the receipt to every client, we also have a paper inside our receipt envelope that has extra fees for extra services, we also state that to our clients. If the other party does not contest our clients divorce. Our total cost is $750.00. Unfortunately for Diana, her ex-husband contested her divorce. We did call her and told her that her ex husband contested and she should have received his response to her mailing address. She stated to us that she did not receive anything and asked what was the next step. We told Diana that we could get her a copy of the documents submitted to court by her ex-husband, but we would charge her as we get charged by court to get those copies, or she could go to court and get the copies herself. We also mentioned to Diana that her divorce will be on hold at court until one of the parties requests a court date, also mentioning to her we could request a court date, but as that is an extra service outside of an uncontested divorce, there was going to be an extra fee. Diana got very upset because we could no longer divorce her in the 6 months we told her, and because she now would have to go to court to deal with whatever her ex husband did not agree on. Everything was explained to Diana from the beginning, as we do with every client we have. We have tried to get in contact with Diana., but she no longer answers our phone calls. Diana has not tried to get in contact with us about a refund or cancellation. Our business Receipt that Diana signed at the time of payment and was given a copy of, states "after 72 hours the process has initiated, there will be no refund, I have read and agreed.", she would no longer be able to get a full refund. We try to help our clients as much as possible, but as her ex-husband responded to her divorce, this was no longer an easy 4 step divorce process.

Everything that the company is saying is untrue I was the one calling repeatedly and the lady Alicia was always in a rush telling me to call back until that last time when I told her it was enough then she told me that the other party contested the divorced and I had to go to court and find out by my self she never said we can help you for extra fees instead when i question her what did i paid for she said if you dont stop tailking im going to hung up so ahe did is dishonest how they're just saying in reality how this works they haven't call me at all the truth here is once they take your money there's no going back they're literally stealing people's money how can they tell you that a divorce is going to be easy and if is not you just loose $750 if you're paying someone is to have piece of mind that they're going to be honest and help you but instead they're just take peoples money with no remorse and then you have to go somewhere else to get help and pay again because they don't want to refund your money. And the worst part is how they are lying to cover their unprofessionalism not even a single call from the company this is very unfair how they're lying to cover them self
