Dixieland reviews

The reviewer was unhappy because he presented a form of identification for tobacco products he wished to purchase that could not be accepted. When told the ID could not be used, he then produced yet another identification card from a different state, and at this point the employee was concerned about the validity of the identification of the individual and she refused the sale. This individual then sent his female friend in to make the purchase at which point the manager told her that making a purchase for him was against the law. The female became upset and her child did in fact leave with candy that was not paid for by anyone. A woman who identified herself as the mother of the female, and a long time customer of our store, met with the store owner the next day, and when he explained the circumstance , she said she completely understood what had occurred and apologized for the inconvenience. We have store surveillance footage of the entire incident.
