The Leagal attorney Laura Chapman asked me to come to the office to pay her client (Shawn Curtiss) a settlement offer I came to her place of employment and I asked her to notarize the paperwork for me she said, she would be filing the documents with the Pinal Superior Court and would email me a copy , I asked for a copy 30 days later and she refused to file or send me a copy of the settlement that was satisfied with her and her client. Resolution Sought I want Laura Chapman to file the paperwork like she said she would with the Pinal county superior court and I want a email of verification and proff.

We received the complaint description from Ms. Kanz. We are a law firm, and I represented Ms. Kanzs' ex-husband in a family law matter. Ms. Kanz was, and never has been, a customer and or client of our law firm. We do not represent Ms. Kanz, and therfore, we have no legal obligation nor duty to her. Our representation is identified in our fee agreement between the client and our firm. The work we do on a matter is controlled by the authorization of our client, not Ms. Kanz. We completed the work that we were authorized to do by our client. Once our client requested that we no longer work on his matter, we are legally obligated to cease all work and conclude our services. Ms. Kanz was not happy with our services being terminated and is attempting to force us to complete work that we are not authorized to do.
