Things on sale were wrong up at full price. Then tried to charge $8.22 for tax on total $48.60. How do they come up with that and how can they get away with it. Then manager was insisting the total was correct. And it wasn't. I returned everything. I feel like they're taking advantage of the lower income ppl. We go there to be able to save some money . But they're being sneaky and if you don't pay attention they're getting away with it. They need to be investigated and shut down. I will not go there again. Stop over charging . And ring up the sale prices. Not what it's normally and then don't take off sale amount. At the end of receipt it looks like money has been taking off, but really it's not. I went to this Williamsburg Dollar General market at 3:10 PM. And seen the sign on the table of Clarence items that says take an additional 70 off the lowest clearance price. I go up to ask the worker. Because none of the items have prices on them. She told me to scan them with my phone to get the price. And then the additional 70 off of that price, I loaded a car full of stuff that I've spent 20 minutes looking through, and I took it to the. Register and it didn't automatically come off. As the additional 70 off the lowest price, it was just coming up as the regular clearance price. Jeff was nice about it all. He was the cashier and called over the manager. Her name was Deedee, she comes over. Looks at the monitor sees the. Regular prize and the Clarence prize and says that that's already the 70 off, which it didn't even add up to the 70 and says she's not going to do anything about it. So then the cashier has to cancel the whole order.Because i'm not paying a $150 for all clearance items that were literally under a dollar for everything, and some stuff should have been 4 cents because they were dollar. Items that were already marked down to 10 cents. What's stickers on them? The store manager then walked out of the building, and I ended up with spinning. An hour and a 1/2 in this place in not getting any issue resolved. She refused to honor the 70 off the lowest ticket price. I have pictures of the table of the posted signs Resolution Sought I want my items that I picked out for the price. They should be, and I want her to apologize personally for wasting hour and a 1/2. My time can never be recovered or returned
