Dollar General complaints

Not only are the staff rude and unhelpful,they are very judgmental of their customers, gossip about customers while on the job,and accuse their customers of stealing and a couple of this stores employees have made it their own duty to go to EVERY OTHER BUSINESS IN ANTLERS and tell them to "watch certain customers (myself and my fiancee included) because they will steal anything they can get their hands on." They stay on their phones constantly and use very graphic profanity in front of customers. Today may 20,2025 around 9:30 am I went to this dollar general as I usually do when I need certain things, I went in and saw numerous shelves bare with nothing on them or in the freezers. Aggravated and disappointed I came back out to my vehicle where my fiancée and my dog Dixie Rose were throwing away a piece of trash from our vehicle. As I rounded the side of the building and saw them my dog started getting excited wagging her tail and waiting for my fiancée to walk her to meet me at the vehicle. It was at that time when my dog started screaming and crying in pain, kind of stuck if you will. My fiancée noticed what had happened right away and knocked her on the ground to get the hot wire that went to some yellow lift in a water puddle ( right next to the dumpsters ) to stop ELECTROCUTING OUR DOG! We rushed her to the vet in atoka to see what could be done and had to leave her for closer observation. This dog is our entire world there is no equivalent even monetary. Resolution Sought I think they should be held accountable for such an unsafe,and dangerous environment. There are kids and dogs and elderly people in that area of the parking lot daily from open to close. that parking lot is right across from the ANTLERS motor sports store and has a large array of customers from both stores in that general area all day long until closing time.

I'm a long term customer with verizon wireless and went to dollar general to purchase a verizon phone as I have done in the past. The phone I wanted a moto pure g would not scan so the cashier could not sell it to me. Her manager came and I asked her if she had anymore verizon phones in the back. She brings out A red box that says "total by verizon". She said this is the only other verizon phone I have. I purchased the phone and airtime. There policy is that phones and phone accessories are none refundable, which I think is stupid. AFTER getting home with the phone and calling the number on the back of the box I realize it's not a verizon phone. The carrier is total wireless verizon bought them out they are verizons parent company. Which means the phone is locked to total wireless so I call total wireless to get the phone unlocked so I can Transfer my info to that phone. My phone has been broken for days. Total wireless advised that after 2 months of their service they will unlock the phone for me to put my verizon service on it. I don't want to there service I've never heard of them, the customer service rep. Could not answer the question concerning their affiliation with verizon and I could not speak to a supervisor. Also if I use there company I would loose my long term customer discount with verizon. Dollar General will not give me my money back to go to another dollar to get a verizon phone nor will they give me a store credit. Resolution Sought A full refund so I can go to another dollar general and purchase a verizon or store credit towards another phone.
