My child attended the Dublin learning academy for daycare from 1.5- 4years of age and at the beginning of the year 2024 we were having issues with him being sent to the office multiple times due to outbursts in the classroom. Then for summer camp starting in June he was not allowed to leave the building for his class trips due to spacing a issue is what the director told me but said my son could earn a field trip by having good behavior. After a few weeks of being on good behavior I asked again and was told from the owner she decided he was a danger to leave the building, even though he has had good behavior and remarks from his teacher. Frustrated by the lying from management and little effort to help my child I asked about other ways to track behavior and they refuse to help him or use new ideas that another professional brought up to them. I saw more reviews on their site about them excluding kids like this before and I didn't want to let it go. We are gone now but it was just crazy that every other kid in class only needed to have good behavior for one day to go on the trips but my son needed to be good for a full week and if he did they would find a reason not to take him. He is the only black kid in his class which I think also didn't help. Resolution Sought Look into the daycare and about discrimination and better policies for dealing with behaviors
