I just turned 65 I'm on a Medicare advantage program for health insurance which includes dental coverage I called dynamic dental smiles and asked if they took Medicare advantage plus from the company that I have my insurance with and they assured me that they do. So I made an appointment to get my teeth examined and gave them my insurance information. They contacted my insurance company verified that I have dental coverage and then I had up to $3000 in a year worth of coverage. They recommended a deep cleaning which I had suspected I needed anyway the bill on the deep cleaning was in excess of $600 and they refused to provide the work unless I paid that money upfront and asked the insurance company to reimburse me. So in actuality they take Medicare advantage Insurance from my provider but they don't take it they wasted my time and they been honest and upfront I would have gone elsewhere. Even though they verified that I had coverage they said they weren't absolutely certain that the insurance company would cover the procedure even though the insurance company had assured them that they would.
