I've been without any kind of air conditioning for 3 months. I was under the impression that they would fix it by the 26th, otherwise my contract would be voided and no rent would be paid. But without my permission they charged my card. I had to stay hotels or go back to my home in Iowa. Since it was so unbearable to live in. In fact the other leasing company they sold the property in question to my name off of all utilities and put it into their name. Resolution Sought I would like my money back and not let it effect rental history.

For the disputed funds in the complaint, please see attached ledger (copy provided to BCA for review). Although we do not have the ability to pull funds from any customer's bank account without the customer being the one to initiate it via a one-time payment or scheduled autodraft, it appears the amount was charged due to an autodraft scheduled by the customer. However, after the charge, the payment was reversed due to insufficient funds. In short, the amount the customer is disputing should still be in her possession, as our company never received it due to the insufficient funds. The property she lived in was owned by a previous client whom we no longer manage for, and Eagle Rock Realty & Property Management does not have any intention of giving her a negative landlord reference should it be contacted by a prospective landlord.

The autopay was turned off, also why would my account be charged when the other company now owed the building, and my contract? The charge wasn't insufficient, I reversed the charge, although it did cause tons of problems financially for me. As of the now the perspective Landlord isn't giving me any kind of issues.

As the customer stated in her response, the disputed charge was reversed, so the amount named in her complaint is in the customer's possession already, whatever the cause of the reverse may have been. Thank you for the feedback and we wish the customer well in her future endeavors, with the amount in dispute having never been transferred to the company in the first place, it appears this complaint is resolved.
