I hired Ray Eagle with Eagle HVAC two years ago. Ray said I needed to have the electricity ran before he could install I ran out of money and it was a year and a half before I got the money to have the electric installed. After the installation of the electric I contacted Ray and told him I was ready for him to install the heat in there this was six months ago and he just continues to give me the runaround. Resolution Sought Install my heat and air before I freeze this winter.

Company Response

Company states; We installed the upstairs Air Handler & All Duct work on 8/11/2022. The upstairs unit was not ready to install due to pluming needed to be installed under house. by the time plumbing was done I spoke with Matt & he explained that he needed to put his project on hold for a little while. In June of 2023 Matt contacted me to say his project was back on track & ready to move forward. At this time, due to the summer rush our company was backed up on installs and I explained this to him. I sent install to Matts house on 7/14/23 to hook up drain and run thermostat upstairs for the upstairs unit & check on downstairs to see if it was ready. At this time there was a lot of materials in the house that did not allow us to install floor bouts in the house by this time we were backed up, about 3 months on install. I talked to Matt every time he called or texted me. If not right then, then I contacted him back every time. My signed contract with him was to install a heat pump with dual fuel back up propane in downstairs of home. In October of 2023 Matt came to my house to borrow my backhoe to dig propane line, so I assumed it was for the downstairs furnace, so it would have not done any good to have installed any earlier, because we would not have turned on heat without propane. This is a new construction project that is not occupied by the Kelly's. They are living in a camper onsite so the comment about installing unit before they freeze this winter was a little exaggerated. I received the complaint letter on 12/13/23, just a day after I had spoken to Matt to tell him that we would have duct work finished & heat turned on before Christmas. I asked him through text if the propane line was done, so we can turn on the heat. At this time, he said house was going to be total electric, so it's a good thing we did not install the downstairs unit. We switched to total electric & all duck work was ran & heat was turned on as of 12/18/23 with exception of the electric high voltage required for a total electric unit was not ran to unit under house. The high voltage was for volt gas furnace. Once electric is run to unit then the system is ready to turn heat on. Both thermostats were installed & filters were installed in returns. This house is not ready for grills to be installed at this time due to the interior is not finished.
