July 6 23 my car was towed from my apartment complex The next night my rental car was towed I contacted the tow company @ 7:15a to get cars Tow co told me I couldn't get the rental car I asked where the cars were I needed my personal items They refused said the only items they allow to get is prescription medication I was late for work I contacted rental co & told them of the situation & told them they had to contact tow co to authorize release I had to work I gave my aunt written consent to please find out any information she could to get my car or belongings My aunt contacted the tow company asking where the vehicles were located & the manager of tow co refused to give her any information, my aunt literally begged the owner to please help us and he absolutely refused He hung up on her & would not answer her calls from 7:30 AM til I got off work @ 3:00p when I called I begged a lady to let me get my items she said they'd meet us in 1 hour but still wouldn't give location! So apartment manager gave me the address on file we went waited & no one came & refused our calls till 7/10/23 when they quoted $280 for rental but charged over $100 more including a gate fee but we got the car during open hours I told the tow manager face 2 face I want my aunt to handle the process but he refused & called the law because my aunt told him he violated Fl stat by not allowing us to get cars when I requested & when he denied me to get belongings & refused to give location Resolution Sought There's much more that happened but not enough room to write! I want all my money returned & when he refused to let my aunt help he kicked her out in a storm he degraded her to me in a disgusting & unprofessional manner he needs to apologize to her but I want to file a complaint with every division affiliated w/ tow co & take the manager & his co to court if possible There are many other Fl stats the manager violated his entire office followed my aunt out screaming threats @ her HORRIBLE & SAD
