On 12 August I agreed to pay $169.00 for a Spider and And Service for every other month. My Credit Card was charged for the full Service which was not Completed because the machine broke. I kept calling EcoShield and the Customer Care Reps are apparently trained to manipulate the complaint of your concern and absolve Ecoshield from any responsibility for not doing their job. I received a partial Service. Sen I called and asked for the completion of service (Several Times) I was told the local office would contact me; they never did. I became frustrated and ask that the cancellation md Service. I was told by Ryhsn that they would charge me another $100.00 brining the total go $269.00. EcoShield instead charged me $150.00 for the cancellation instead and never did complete the Initial Service. On 21 August when I spoke to Dan he told me he would Re-I state the service and complete the initial service. This has not happened as of today. Ecoshield local office does not answer or return calls. This Company should be investigated for unfair business practices. I am a retired Veteran and lived on a fixed income. I am extremely frustrated and feel cheated. I am not asking for charity of handouts; I am only asking for the Service for which I paid. I am deeply hurt. Never thought at 73 years old I would be dealing with this kind of potential Fraud. Do here I am, out of $319.00 for partial Service. Ecoshield is unfaithful to the truth. Resolution Sought I would like them to tenser the agreed upon Service as promised for taking my money. Then, remove my personal information from their records and never contact me or set foot on my property. I do not trust anything they say. They are only concerned about taking your money. BBB should try calling the local office; they do not answer the phone. $169.00 paid for partial Service. The $150.00 charged instead of $100.00 for cancellation.

On 8/19/23, the customer's account was refunded the $150 annual commitment discount payback as a result of their decision to cancel prematurely. We also conducted a follow-up appointment on 8/18/23, during which we identified termite activity. Given the customer's feedback and the fact that termites are not covered under our General Pest services, we have complied with the consumer's request and closed the account.
