I purchased a 2014, Chevrolet Impala LTZ from Edwards Chevrolet 280, April 1, 2020, located 5499- Highway 280 East, Birmingham, Alabama 35242. The following issues have occurred. Within one month of purchasing this car. Had to buy a motor that was installed by the dealership. A few weeks of the motor being installed encountered problems and the car was taken back to the dealership and another motor was installed as a result of the first motor being defective. Additionally, I reported after buying the car the sunroof not working properly as it would not open or close with no response. A few months of the motor being installed the catalytic converter had to be replaced. I am again experiencing problems with the motor overheating resulting in the front hood of car becoming discolored and both front headlights dropping down. Water is getting into the trunk, and the heating and air conditioning works sporadically. I met with the used car sales manager within the first few months of purchasing the car to address all of these problems with no satisfactory resolution. I am pleading for help due to this car obviously being a lemon. I am seeking to get a replacement vehicle. the car is still being financed with a balance of approximately $9,700. Resolution Sought I would like to replace this vehicle with a reliable car due to all the problems i initially and continue to encounter. I am praying I do not have to extend additional car note payments and at least get a 2018 or 2019 vehicle. My current payoff is approximately $9,700 dollars. I sincerely appreciate in advance your consideration in reaching a reputable solution.
