I spoke with attorney back a year and half ago almost 2 years about a custody case and he took my money and I haven't received no court date or anything from him about any updates. I have been calling him and all keeps saying is I can't get a court date until after the first of the month and this has been going on this whole time. He doesn't call me or anything. I want to know how I can get my money back from him that he took and hasn't done nothing. Resolution Sought Give me my money back, so I can get a better attorney. That will do something.

In response to Robin's complaint my answer is following: 1. I was employed by Robin in February 2021 and filed a Petition in regard to Custody. 2. The Court gave us a trial date of April 15, 2021 but the case was dropped from the calendar. 3. We are being required to attend mediation before trial and we are trying to set a date with mediation. 4. The Court has given us a new trial date. 5. Additionally, Judge Peeler only hears custody cases on Thursday afternoon and not ever Thursday. If there are two cases set on Thursday, he hears the oldest case first and continues the other case. 6. I had to travel fifty miles to the Court and will have to travel more times. 7. I have spoken to my client and gave her the names of the mediators and possible trail dates.
